Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Part-Time
澳门金沙手机官方官网 is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to join 澳门金沙手机官方官网's Sleep Center 1 or 2 days per week.
澳门金沙手机官方官网's Sleep Center is a busy and growing practice, currently staffed by Dr. Rakesh Gupta and a Nurse Practitioner, and includes outpatient consultations and follow up visits.
The successful candidate must be comfortable with patient evaluations and management with 1-5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. While some experience with sleep or pulmonary medicine is preferable, it is not mandatory, and on-the-job training will be provided. There is no routine weekend or night “call” but providers are available on phone for patients and sleep techs at night for their infrequent questions.
Typical patient symptoms of sleep disorders are fatigue, snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs, narcolepsy, and parasomnias. The Sleep Center offers state of the art diagnostic services for both adults and adolescents, including home testing and in-lab studies. Therapies include advanced PAP modalities like BiPAP and ASV (adaptive servo-ventilation). The Sleep Center has a 4-bed overnight testing facility in Somerset, Massachusetts, and is proactive in its approach to sleep disorders, following patients on a regular basis in a chronic disease care model.

The NP must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, hold a valid Drug Enforcement Agency certificate, and a Massachusetts controlled substances registration. Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills are essential.
The successful candidate will be an employee of 澳门金沙手机官方官网. Compensation will be commensurate with the practitioner’s experience, training, skill set, and confidence. Benefits will be determined by the number of hours worked, but include malpractice coverage, a 401K retirement plan, a CME allowance, and paid time off (PTO).
